7700 Security Rib Bar System
DDS 7700 Security Rib Bar System is used in medium to maximum security areas where air flow and
audible communications are demanded. DDS 7700 Security Rib Bar System is constructed
using 7/8" diameter hot rolled mild double-rib bar that is available heat treated and certified
to ASTM 627 specifications for the vertical sections. The horizontal flat bars are
fabricated using 3/8" x 2 1/4" hot rolled steel. Normal placement of this system is at holding
cells, cell fronts and corridor cut-off doors.
DDS 7700A Security Rib Bar System The materials used to construct this maximum
detention grade product are made from A1045 Tool Resistant 7/8" double rib bar
able to be heat treated and certified to
ASTM 627 specifications.
DDS 7700B Security Rib Bar System The materials used to construct this medium
detention grade product are made from A36 mild steel 7/8" double rib bar.

These units are shipped in sections possibly needing field
welding, vertical wall bracing usually requires
